The problem a new marketer trying to teach a marketing seminar would have is that they don’t know anything about marketing yet. However, if they did it the right way they would create a seminar about something they already know.

The make money online niche is actually one of the smaller niches out there. When you take IM strategies into other niches you look like a ninja because no one else knows this stuff. How about a workshop on setting up a home theatre system? Or a workshop on how to use email?

Holding a workshop is as easy as picking a topic, planning what you’ll say, paying for a room (cheaper then you would think), and then promoting the event.

Hi Justin, There is a piece missing from the puzzle.... Want to know what it is? It's the Internet Marketing secret # 1 and the marketing funnel. How in the world would someone just starting out online create a 3 day workshop? I'm thinking that would be a tall order for an experienced Online Marketer. Do you have any suggestions for how a new marketer would conduct a 3 day work shop? I've been racking my brain out trying to come up with something and just can't seem to come up with anything other than paying big bucks to attend one and somehow come up with a new angle that is missing in the event that I attended. Then go out and create something new from it. Maybe I can't see the Forrest cause all them trees are getting in my way again. (LOL) I would value your input here tremendously! Yeah I could charge for it but I’m not about trying to charge for everything and taking every dollar I can out of people’s pockets. As for copying it, I can’t stop you but I would advise you to create your own case studies and experiences and then teach those. You’ll love it more and your followers will love it more.

@Julie – best way to get affiliates is to approach blogs and forums in your niche and ask for paid advertising. Then when they tell you the price you flip it on them and tell them how much more they’ll make as an affiliate.

@Rogers – You’re right I assumed that an order button or some way to accept money was just an understood part of sales. Paypal is where most people start out but you grow out of them and end up wanting your own merchant account later on. (So you don’t have to deal with Paypal’s lopsided policies)

1ShoppingCart will still require Paypal or another payment processor.

Appreciated the good content. I took copious notes, and I’m just getting started. I’m pleased to see that I’m pretty much on the right track. I found a niche with a big need, but I don’t know how hungry people are for it–it’s the good writing niche.

Interesting that you didn’t include any resources on how to actually take people’s money, unless that’s built into the autoresponder. I figure I need something like PayPal or a shopping cart account. Is this true?

However, there seems to be a problem with the audio.
I tried to listen to it, but it doesn’t play. it’s showing some errors on the page.

Could you kindly have a look at it and fix it for us please?
I don’t know if I am the only person who’s experiencing this…

That was amazing content. Just learning about Gcast.com was worth an hour of my time. But the whole call was pure gold. You said more in one hour than most of the “gurus” will teach in an entire $500 course. I hope that everyone listening understands how much you laid out for them.

I strongly agree that the key to being successful online is focus. Too many People are searching for the next trick, secret or product that will finally make them successful. When the key is to pick One method and stick with it until you are successful.

Thanks for the great info. You know, in this day and age, it really is difficult to find decent, no fluff, unhyped information in IM for less than $500. When I get an an email saying “FREE” I usually discard it immediately, because the majority of the free stuff is just rehashed, overdistributed junk and a total waste of my time. However, once in a blue moon, I run across some genuinely good information that is indeed “FREE” or within a reasonable dollar sum and can beat the pants of some of the $500 packages I have purchased over the years. This is one of them. Good work. (If you want to receive, give first).
