Matt Bacak says it best “If you have no numbers you have no business”
What he means is that if you are running a business but don’t know how many customers you have, how much profit you are making, what your sales conversion rate is… Then you are on your way to failure.
I remember back when I was first getting online and learned about website analytics. I went nuts with it! I started tracking and testing everything. The more I did the more money I made!!!
Website analytics may be the most boring part of marketing but if used correctly they can be the most profitable. Learn it or perish…
What this video now to learn the 4 must have website analytics tools and how to use them…

Smoking. You are very intense about your business. I like that and can feel it coming from you.
I appreciate the lesson. Really feel like I picked up some very useful information. Never heard of some of those programs. The ClickTail really intrigues me. Will be looking into that one along with GW Optimizer.
Here is a question about the first part about GA – What is an acceptable bounce rate?
What’s considered average, better, best?
Hey Freddie,
There’s lots of diff. opinions on what a good and bad bounce rate is… For me I’m looking to get my bounce rate as low as possible. Usually 50% and 60% are good with me. Impossible to get 0%
Bad bounce rates are in the 80% – 90% range
Justin,
Thanks for the quick response. That is good to know. I think my bounce rate is in the 50 to 60 percent or something like that. Now that I know what I am looking for, I can work on it.
