Guest Posting Resources [Day25]

I didn’t get too many questions about guest posting yesterday so that either means I did an excellent job describing it and you’re out there taking action OR you read the article immediately decided it would be too hard and labeled that traffic method “not worth it”.

I am hoping you all opted for the first option, but if you still unsure about guest posting I’ve got a great resource for you today. It’s another blog that both Justin and I read regularly. ViperChill.com is an awesome website that talks about getting all sorts of traffic. The page I linked you to is his article on Guest Blogging. This is a fantastic lesson and goes into great detail on how he gets so many guest posting opportunities. Not only that but he explains the benefits of it as well as how it’s increased his traffic and subscriber base. This should be perfect for those of you second guessing the task this week.

Next up is an essential tool that every website owner MUST have – tracking analytics. Justin and I recommend GetClicky. This is the easiest web analytics software. It is similar to Google Analytics, but more powerful and easier to understand the stats. Our favorite feature is the Real Time Analytics (so you can watch people visit your website). As you start getting more and more traffic to your site over the next couple of weeks you are going to want to know how your effort is paying off…getclicky is a great way to track your progress.

An alternative to GetClicky would be MixPanel.com – it’s a top tier analytics software that blows Google Analytics out of the water. This software tracks real-time, funnel analytics, visitor retention, and SO much more.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to get tracking installed on your blog and start your campaign for guest posting. This is an extremely easy way to get FREE traffic to your blog.

Remember – All it takes is action & action builds confidence.

Have a great day
Chaunna

I am blogging about software creation and have about 10 comments by now. Somebody is reading that I just don’t have a way of telling who or how many.

Great resources! I think this way of promoting by guest posting is gorgeus and indeed underestimated. My question is if is not too early to do it when your blog have not even 7 days of being released? I am working on my new blog – and it took me some time to set it up, install all the plugins and set them up + the theme.I am a little behind but I have plans to write the 7 day content and shedule it soon.I’m definitely on it – moving forward!
