Facebook Fan Page Tricks

Boy oh boy am I doing a rough job at keeping up the content on this blog. Bare with me for a bit longer though as I still have some muscles left in these fingers. I just been really busy with a transition period in my business.

I still owe you a KILLER post about why I sold my business for pennies to start all over again from scratch. That’s coming very soon, ahh… Maybe even as a Christmas present? No promises though cuz I’m having a lot of fun with all this new family time I’m getting in.

Anyway, today I wanted to share with you some videos I found for training one of my team members on using Facebook fan pages.

Facebook is one of the worlds most trafficked websites with over 350 MILLION registered users and the largest growing demographic is people age 35 – 65 aka the people who control the wallets! If you’re not on Facebook yet, you are missing out on the largest fastest way to directly interact with consumers.

Having a Facebook fan page means you can keep your business life and your personal life separate on Facebook. Plus you can have as many fans as you want, email all of them at once, and customize your page with lots of interactive and decorative widgets (apps).

Here are some videos that will help you get everything setup…

Hope those help you feel more comfortable in getting your Facebook fan page started. This is powerful stuff that can add serious dollars to your pockets, so don’t take it lightly just because it was shared for free.

P.S. Once you create your Facebook fan page why don’t you post a comment with a very brief description of the benefits someone would have for becoming your fan and a link to your page.

Excellent stuff Justin. I don't currently have a FB account nor sound and the vids look quite explanatory. I will surely be promoting this post in the coming weeks.

Will you be updating the vids if/as things on FB change?

Great post – some very informative stuff here.

Facebook is such a great marketing tool… provided you don't use spam or annoy people. I think the boredom factor is helpful: people on Facebook are probably there because they have the spare time to click around and explore anything that they think looks interesting. Dennis, you should definitely get involved.

Cool! I just added a Facebook Fanpage for my orchestra arrangements. This is a big help!

Facebook just recently updated what you can do within your fan page, everything from the way your layout is to automatically putting new images at the top of your wall, pretty cool stuff
